Five edges that show how good the painting is
Anyone can roll a flat surface. The difference appears at the five places where two materials or two colours meet. That is where we slow down.

Wall to ceiling
The long line overhead. We cut it in freehand with a brush and set it on the junction itself, not on the ceiling texture.

Internal corner
Two colours, one angle. The tone breaks exactly in the corner so each wall shows its full colour from either side.

Skirting and base
Every wave shows down there. We mask flush, seal the tape edge and pull the coat through in one pass.

Switches and sockets
Cover plate off, painted cleanly all around, plate back on. No paint ridge on the plastic and no gap behind it.

Window reveal
The reveal sits in the hardest light in the room. It gets the same build up as the wall and an edge that holds up in daylight.

From the survey to the last edge
Six steps that run the same way on every job. You know in advance what happens, and afterwards you see where it was checked.

Survey on site
We look at the room, measure the surfaces and note every junction that will cost time.

Sample the colour
The chosen tone goes onto your own wall and is looked at in daylight and in artificial light.
- 03
Protect and mask
Floors, furniture, skirting and frames are covered and masked flush before the first tin is opened.
- 04
Prepare the substrate
Holes and cracks are filled, sanded and primed so the surface absorbs evenly.
- 05
Two coats
Cut in the edges first, then roll the surface wet on wet. The second pass follows.
- 06
Handover at the edge
We walk every edge with you in raking light. Only then does the tape come off and the room get cleared.
Appointments are agreed in advance and kept. If something changes, you hear it from us and not from the site.

Common questions
What customers most often want to know before placing an order.
What does painting a flat in Hückelhoven cost?
It depends on the area, the substrate and the number of junctions. An older hallway with many doors takes more time than an empty new build room. We measure on site and you receive a written quotation before anything starts.
How long does one room take?
A cleared room on a sound substrate is usually finished in one working day, including masking and the second coat. If filling work or a glaze is involved we plan a second day.
Do I have to move the furniture out myself?
No. We move larger pieces into the middle of the room and cover them. Please put personal and fragile items away yourself, we handle the rest.
Is filling and priming included?
Yes, that is part of the job. Cracks, plug holes and old repairs are filled and sanded, and absorbent or uneven surfaces are primed. Otherwise those places show through the coat.
Can you match a particular colour?
Usually yes. We sample the tone on your wall and look at it in daylight and in artificial light before the full quantity is mixed. Painting starts once the tone is right in the room.
Do you also work outside on facades?
Yes. Facade cleaning, coating and water repellent treatment are part of what we do. Weather and substrate decide the date, and we discuss that during the survey.
